Latvia: CellTraX and Drones in Latvia

GPS Collars AS are providing their CellTraX GPS/GSM/UHF tracking collar for red deer to test new wildlife monitoring approaches for the EU funded Connected By Biobord project. Participant countries include Latvia, Norway, Finland. The objective is to test a drone-based monitoring approach for wild animal monitoring. Collars and tags from GPS Collars AS will be used as an additional data source for analysis of red deer habitat and validation purposes.
