EarTraX GPS/GSM/UHF eartags have been fitted to European Bison as part of the breeding program run by Edinburgh Zoo at the Highland Wildlife Park.  The bull bison have been translocated to a remote study area in Highland Perthshire where they await further movement.

The EarTraX were fitted to improve the management of these animals to assist in health monitoring post release and recovery of the animals at a later date.
